Getting excited for the release of Harley Quinn? So are we! We’re not too far from the release of the new series, but until then, we have plenty of Harley news from NYCC to fill the gaps. From panels to exhibits, there’s a little something for every Harley fan in attendance. If you plan on hitting NYCC next week, here’s all the Harley you can get your hands on:
BIRDS OF PREY (AND THE FANTABULOUS EMANCIPATION OF ONE HARLEY QUINN): For those eagerly awaiting this kickass team up, the DC booth (#SC4001) will showcase several never-before-seen Birds of Prey character costumes from the film, including Harley Quinn, Black Canary, Huntress, Renee Montoya and Cassandra Cain. Keep checking in throughout the weekend, as there will be photo opportunities, giveaways and cosplay meet-ups as well! (Speaking of cosplay, we’ll be on the lookout for some stellar ones and featuring them on our Twitter!) In addition to Funko’s collectible Pop! figures, keep an eye out for lots of Harley merch from premier brands and retailers. Make sure you pop in to the booth on Saturday and Sunday, because in true Harley style, the DC booth will transform into the ultimate Harley playground! There may even be a special surprise or two; it wouldn’t be Harley Quinn without a few surprises, now would it? When you’re not at con, keep your eyes peeled for eye-popping, psychedelic, Harley-ized billboards promoting Birds of Prey!
HARLEY QUINN POP-UP GALLERY: Don’t have a ticket to NYCC, but still want in on the Harley action? On Friday, October 4th at the DC Universe Headquarters, a special Harley Quinn pop-up installation will be on display! This fun, interactive exhibit will invite fans to experience the evolution of DC’s most delightfully deranged Super-Villain. From her first comic book appearance to her upcoming animated series and her next big-screen adventure, get a sneak peek at all things Harley Quinn including special edition cover art, original and exclusive art from the new animated series as well as model sheets, sketches, collectibles, props, costumes and more. The exhibit will feature art by Amanda Conner, Jim Lee and Bruce Timm, among others. No badges, tickets or reservations required!
